“Pad A Girl” is an initiative by Faithmoves foundation which helps young girls who can’t afford menstrual pads stay in school and learn during their menstrual period.
Just as we bleed with injuries and sweat when we are hot, we need to normalize the fact that menstruation is natural to women and not something to be guilty or ashamed of.
And most importantly, we need to see how we can subsidize pads/tampons or even make it free for our teenage girls from poor homes who don’t have the purchasing power to buy one for themselves every month.
It is very important.
To support the movement check the graphics above to make payment, one pack of pads will go long way for a girl today.
